How to Control Diet When You Are Eating Out

Drink water

Read the menu before you order

Before giving an order, give a slight glance at the whole menu and note the items which have less calorie in it. Stick to the plan and choose items thoughtfully, so you don’t regret later.

Order Meal Before everyone

In social situations, people copy each other unconsciously. Whenever you go out for eating in a group, make sure you order first, so that you don’t get influenced by the choices of the other people at the table.

Order Two Appetizers Instead of a Main

Avoid sugary drinks

Most of the Americans overeat sugar in their diet which not only makes them fat but also aggravates diabetes and heart conditions.  Eliminate sugar from your diet by ignoring carbonated /energy drinks and fruit juice. Try to stick with water or various kinds of tea for a different taste.

Choose tomato-based sauces

Always choose vegetable-based or tomato-based sauces over any creamy sauce to minimize the calorie intake from your meal.
